Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Trent! It's my hubby's birthday today and he is real excited. Not. I just wanted to tell him how much I love him and appreciate all he does for us. He is a great husband and a wonderful father! I hope you have a Great Birthday Babe! Love Ya!
Madisyn's Birthday is on thursday and she is way excited! She is growing up so fast we can hardly believe it! We just want to tell her Happy Birthday and that we are so proud of the beautiful girl she is growing up to be! Love You!To continue with the Birthday's we have a few more. August is the birthday month for our family. Happy Birthday to all you guys. Jeanie, Shawna, Jake, Tristin, and Candice! Five out of the seven birthdays are all in the same week! Back to School

It was Back to School for the kids today. Summer Vacation is over! I thought I was excited for the kids to be back in school with a routine and a bedtime but then I realized that means that I have to get back into a routine again also. Ugh! Oh well, It will be good for all of us. The kids were excited to be back to see all their friends and for the social aspect of it, but thats it. Madisyn started 7th grade this year. Yep, that's right, JUNIOR HIGH! She looked so cute! I think she was a little nervous, but she said her first day went good. I thought Trent was going to break down in tears this morning when they left for school. His baby girl is in Junior High! That means boys, makeup and that icky teenage stuff.
Tyker started The Big 2nd Grade. He was all ready to go twenty minutes before they were ready to leave with teeth brushed, hair combed, clothes and shoes on, and even his backpack on. He looked like a stud! If he don't look like a mini Trent, I dont know what does. He seemed pretty excited until it came time to do the homework tonight. Oh great, here we go!

Lisa's Baby Shower

Today we had a shower for Trent's sister Lisa and her baby Judd, who should be arriving here in the next month. She isn't due until Sep 17, but she is hoping that he will decide to come in just a couple of weeks. The shower was a success with friends and family, games, presents and tonz of yummy food and desserts. And I mean tonz! Tristin did a wonderful job putting it all together. Lisa got lots of darling clothes and some great gadgets and things. Baby Judd will be spoiled with all this fun stuff. I can't wait to see him and have a new nephew! I'm so excited for Lisa and Trent ( yeah her husband is named Trent too. It gets a little confusing at times). Best wishes to you guys and I can't wait to meet this little guy!!

What we've been up to lately...

I know I haven't blogged in a while but I have been super busy with soccer games, work, school clothes shopping, and of course reading BREAKING DAWN! I was so excited to read the book but I am just not a fast reader so it took me a few extra days. I have to say that I was very pleased with the book and kinda relieved to have it over. I am a little sad too. I won't say too much to spoil anything but I thought it should have been two books. Can you say way too much info going on! Well, I think my family was just as relieved for me to be done. Now I actually have to do something around the house. UGH! We haven't been doing too much since we got home from camping. Madisyn has played in two soccer tournaments and has another one this week. She did so good at this last one. She scored a goal and almost made a couple more. We have been doing some barbequing and just hanging out with family and friends. Last night we went to the Monster Truck races at Rocky Mountain Raceway. Trent gets tickets from work and so we usually go every year. Chad, Austin, Braden, Matt, and Cody joined the four of us. Braden was pretty amazed at the trucks and I think he had the most fun. It was his first time so he thought it was pretty cool. The other kids all had a blast as well. Us adults had fun just people watching. That was more entertaining than the trucks at some times. I posted some pics from last night since I haven't taken too many lately.
