Bryten is Here!!

As of Wednesday May 27, at 4:30 p.m. I became a mommy to a beautiful little girl. Bryten Jane Buttars weighed 6 lbs 12 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. The Dr. induced me that morning and I had her 8 hours later. The labor and delivery couldn't have gone better. Except for being a little nauseous in the middle of the day. Bryten is home now and doing very well. I just can't believe that she is mine. I am just loving every second of this whole experience, and I can't wait for more. Even the 2 a.m. feedings.



Thank you to all our family and friends and everything that you have done for us these past couple of days. We appreciate all you have done for us.

Taylor Swift

Wednesday Night, the night before the big day, a few of us went down to the Taylor Swift concert and had a blast. I bought the tickets months ago not knowing if I would even be able to go or not, since it was a week before my due date. But I made it with just hours to spare. She was so awesome in concert. I was very impressed. She is such a good songwriter and such a sweetheart. The whole gang had so much fun and I can't wait for her to come back.

My Dear Sweet Nana!

My dear sweet Grandma (Nana) passed away this morning at the amazing age of 95. She has lived a wonderful life and was ready to go to heaven. This picture was taken at my baby shower last saturday and that was the last time I go to see her. I'm glad it was a happy memory that I got to share with her. I will miss her so much and I love her dearly. I love you Nana!!

One of Nana's favorite things was dressing up every Halloween. She always went all out and looked so cute. I will have to find some more pics of her costumes, but here she is as a Scarecrow and a Red Hat Society lady. Other costumes included a clown, Pillsbury Dough Boy, and Minnie Mouse.

Baby Shower!!

My mom and my sisters threw me a baby shower last weekend and I am just barely getting around to posting about it. Our house is in shambles right now so life has been kinda busy. We decided to put all new carpet throughout the house and refinish our hardwood floors las minute before the baby comes. Stay tuned for updates about that. My shower was so much fun and I had a really good time. Thank you to my mom and my sisters for doing that for me. I love you all and appreciate what you do for me. I hope they are all ready for those phone calls with dumb mommy questions, cause I'm sure I will have some. Thanks to all my friends and family who came and for all the adorable gifts. I can't wait to use them all with Bryten. I also went to the doctor last week and today and I am excited to say that I am dialated to a 1 and 80% thinned. Yeah! Sorry if that is too much information for some of you. I have three weeks to my actual due date but my doctor seems to think that she will be here sooner than that. Let's hope he is right!

Kazree's Photo Shoot

I tried my hand at some photography last week again. I love taking pictures of little brand new babies. They are just so precious. I took these pictures of Kazree, my great niece. I think they turned out pretty good. She is just so freakin adorable. I can't wait to have little Bryten here to take pics of her too.

Kazree gave this picture to Kylee in a frame for Mother's Day.
